Terry McAuliffe really disappoints me. His responses speak to politics as usual, us versus them, and a ‘we must win’ mentality, as opposed to what really counts, and that’s the healing of America and working towards developing a true working majority in this country.
What sickens me the most is the feeling that I’ve gotten from a lot of Democrats who treat politics as a presidential game, or as election 2008 being time for our comeuppance for the last 8 years of bullshit, as opposed to laying the groundwork for a better America.
We’ve already had a president who catered to his constituency’s America. We need a president who’s going to work to benefit all Americans.
I agree. It seems some folks are just trying to hustle their way into the White House just because they think its owed to them. That they know how to play the game to get ahead and therefore they should run the country.
